Ore Valley Adventure Playground
This project involved the conversion and restoration of an existing building which consisted of a brick structure without a roof. The Building was converted into an indoor play space along with a cooking area and toilet facilities. New windows were installed together with purpose made doors, which could be opened fully in the Summer months.
The building was completely re-roofed as part of the contract and rooms were created internally. All internal rooms were constructed from timber studwork and finished in plywood to provide a hardwearing and durable finish.
External works involved the complete fencing of the site with half telegraph pole fencing and the installation of footpaths throughout the woodland, along with the construction of external play equipment, a garden area, play areas storage containers and car parking facilities. The site also required the installation of an external contractor designed Canopy.
